Ladies’ At Home Results 8th March 2011
Over 70 ladies took part in a nine hole competion at the At Home, which is thought of as the true beginning of the season. This was followed by a lunch, enjoyed by over 80 ladies, where the results of some of last seasons events were announced, along with the day’s scores.
Martine Gilks won the EWGA Medal for the best aggregate four Nett Score in EWGA Medal Competitions in 2010. Martine also won the Best Handicap Reduction – 10 shots (36 to 26) and the Margaret Pratt Cup for the most improved players. Tina Bruder had the best EWGA aggregate four nett scores in the silver division.
The Winter Eclectic: Margaret Sheepy won the Silver Division and Tina Bruder was second. Felicity Carless won the Bronze Division with Diana Phillips second. Margaret Wilson won the Copper Division.
In the 9 hole 4ball betterball competition Wendy Vaughan and Margaret Wilson won the best front nine with 21 points and Margaret Morris and Catherine Pritchard won the best back nine also with 21 points.
