Another NAGS Hole in One!

During a Grey Nags’ match at Fulford Heath on 7th June, Roland Oliver scored his first ever hole in one, using a 7 iron from the elevated 11th tee, imperiously carrying the 137 yards and nestling into the hole after a single bounce.
Roland and playing partner, Gerry Robbins pushed on to win 3 and 1 against Fulford’s Lionel Baird and Bryan Dyhouse, but could not save the team from going down four and a half / two and a half overall.
It was a most enjoyable excursion played on the delightful Fulford Heath course where the greens are in exceptional condition.
This is the second hole in one witnessed by Gerry during Nags’ matches in the past 4 weeks, indicating the quality of play which can prevail in competitive Senior’s golf.
