The Annual Charity Golf Day, organised by Warwick Avon Rotary Club at Leamington & County Golf Club on Thursday 28 June, raised £2,340 for the Rotary President’s and Captains’ charities. £1,170 will go to the President’s charity, VSO International, and £585 each to the Captain’s and Ladies’ Captain’s charities, Myton Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Town Bowl Presentation
The Town Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa (Councillor Yvonne Moore) visited Leamington and County Golf Club on Sunday 4th August, and presented to this year’s winner, Trevor Lea, the magnificent Town Bowl which was given to the Club in 1909 by Burgesses of Leamington Spa. Also pictured is the Club Captain Des Bowen.

Charity Presentation
Cheques for £3750 each were handed over at Leamington and County Golf Club on Sunday when the golf club held its mid-season Prize Presentation.
The total of £7500 was raised at the annual charity week. Pictured are Pat Gagg, on the left from Cancer Research UK and Anita Burrows from Myton Hospice, each receiving the cheques from Club Captain Des Bowen and Ladies Captain Liz Murdoch.
