Course

Formed in 1908 the course is located just off the M40 motorway in the heart of Warwickshire, within easy reach of Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. The course here is considered to be one of Warwickshire’s finest.

The layout is a Hawtree & Son re-design of the original course. It’s made up of two loops of nine holes that start and finish  tree-lined and hilly.  It provides a good test for players of all standards.

Best Par 3 is the 11th. Only 130 yards but it’s a very well-protected little hole with bunkers and trees guarding the green.

Toughest hole is the 6th. It’s a long par 4 measuring 446 yards from the back pegs. Trouble waits on both sides and the fairway slopes from left to right. For the average player, it requires two good shots to reach in regulation.
