On Monday 11th July 2011, 36 members of the Grey Nags attended the Captains Away Day at Cherwell Edge Golf Club. We were blessed by superb weather and enjoyed a challenging course which was in very good condition.
The carvery lunch was excellent . . . and satisfied even the largest appetites !!
The winning team, led by Birthday Boy Alan Fearn, scored 118 points in the Rumble competition.
Nearest the pin was David Cowan and longest drive Alan Fearn. Roland Oliver followed up on his recent Hole in One at Penn with an Eagle two at the second hole.
All in all a very enjoyable outing.
