Normally we will ask you to be proposed and seconded for membership by existing club members. Your application form must then be signed and presented for consideration.

Should you be moving to us from another golf club you will simply need to obtain a letter of introduction from your previous golf club. Your application will then be given that consideration.

If you are new to the area and with no previous golf club membership we will normally ask for a letter of introduction from your employer or a professional person such as bank manager etc.

Are you new to the game of golf or wish to take it up or know someone who is.? Are you aware of the Club's unique Apprentice Member scheme? Please 'click' on 'view all news' for further details.

The unique Apprentice Membership scheme encourages beginners or players who have not yet reached handicap standard to work towards it by playing on our course at quiet times and be assisted in their progress by the Profesional and fellow members. The scheme also gives them the opportunity to mix with like players and standard. It is open to an individual for a maximum 2 years, but when they are ready at any time during that period they can take up full membership if they so wish.

The success of the scheme can be shown in the fact that since its introduction already 6 players have progressed to full playing members - improving their game, enjoying playing the course and mixing with fellow members.
