The Senior Ladies Open attracted 120 ladies from 28 clubs. The competition played was teams of three and age related adding the players ages together and split into 3 groups. Group A (150 to 186 years) Group B (187 to 203 years) and Group C (204 years plus). Total age being 7871.
Overall winners – Jackie Taylor, Rosemary Holding & Elizabeth Holden from The Warwickshire with 83 points
Group A – Winners were Kate Bridgwater, Sheila Mackay & Jayne Keeson – The Warwickshire with 79 points. Runners-up were home players Tina Bruder, Nancy Williamson & Gill Thorpe with 76 points.
Group B – Winners were Kath Howell & Joan Smith home players with Gill Nichols from South Herefordshire with 72 points. Runners-up Barbara Davies, Janet Tomlinson & Kate Brown from Chipping Norton with 70 points.
Group C – Winners were Catherine Pritchard, Mal Williams & Mavis Dale all home players with 78 points. Runners-up Rosemary Dutton, Carolyn Cowley & Muriel Paxton from Feldon Valley with 77 points.
Nearest the pin winners. Visitor Judy Turner from Ladbrook Park at the 8th hole and member Margaret Wilson at the 11th hole.
